BIOGRAPHY
➤ Ms. Caito insists on being called simply "Oriana" outside of class, though the second she's on duty it's "Professor Caito" or you'll be facing some serious trouble. Close friends call her "Ori", and are gently encouraged to use they/them pronouns, but beware calling her Ori without her permission-- she is incredibly defensive of the nickname and who gets to use it.
➤ She doesn't even come close to reach five feet tall, and has a soft face that makes her look even more like a child than her height implies. Her voice and especially her eyes are the only thing that give away her age-- there's a seriousness that comes into the corners of her gaze that is unmistakably adult. She makes up for her height by hovering a good foot or two off the ground most of the time.
➤ Began and graduated school early, excelling both her studies as well as mastering her skills very early into her career. Interestingly has always had an incredible knack for history especially, but loathes the studies for being dry and boring. The phrase "history repeats itself" is painfully ignorant in her personal opinion, instead opting the theory that there are various patterns that, when allowed to go unchecked, will repeat until interrupted. She would rather study in more intricate detail the patterns of universal law, rather than the distant consequences of hundreds of different factors simplified into a basic timeline of cause and effect.
➤ After a year of being a teacher's assistant, she passed the exams required and begun teaching physics 101 for freshmen as well as an aviation course for flying types. She hopes to one day be able to put together an aviation course for any student to attend, though that would require resources the school doesn't yet have put together (planes, helicopters and the like are not especially big in Fernchester, considering if you fly too far out you'll never come back).
➤ Has a startling reputation for being a teacher not to mess with, she dispels these rumors by being a gentle sweetheart on the first day. Some think she is a bit too extreme with her teaching, but she holds everyone to her own standards and doesn't realize the harm in it.

She still considers herself a student at heart, and she offers a helping hand to anyone. The best way to pass her classes is to hunt her down during her office hours, and this is part of the reason her reputation can be a bit confusing to those that haven't taken her classes.
