[attr="class","likedoinfo"]Currently, every character must have a pokemon spirit, and there is a limit of one character per pokemon. Family should either stick to one evolutionary line, alolan/kanto forms, or at least a common typing for more distant family.
All characters will keep the same pokemon spirit for their entire lives. Mega Evolution is the only type of evolution that can happen, and it’s a rare ability. When a person dies, their pokemon spirit is revived into a new baby.
* gender-specific pokemon continue to stay the same gender while human. chansey will always be female, tauros will always be male. etc.
Legendaries are unavailable at the current time.
All pokemon with a mega have the ability to mega evolve, however, it’s extremely situational. It can only happen during extremely emotional times, and once they calm down, they will revert back to normal. The process can be uncomfortable, even painful, and is incredibly rare as well as scary. The mega will go into a frenzy, and might not even be able to recognize others in their state of emotion. Their powers will become significantly stronger, and they might even change appearance (hair/eye/faint aura/etc). No character can be mega evolved at all times, and not every pokemon with the ability to mega evolve is required to have the ability (however, it’s always an option!) If you create your app without mega powers and decide later on you’d like to add them, please talk to an admin so it can be added to your profile!
- Pokemon with two megas must pick only one.
- Members can only have one mega each. This includes characters with pokemon who are eligible to mega, but can't.

EXTRA: a good example of a change in appearance during mega evolution would be charizard, DEVIN VERSELIS. normally, he looks like your average black haired, blue eyed teen, but when he mega evolves, he becomes engulfed in blue flames. his fc, okumura rin, was chosen specifically because of his in-series transformation that has a similar look to charizard x's mega evolution. hopefully this example helps clarify things a bit.
