➤ born and raised in fernchester, he took his mother's name when his father left the town and never came back. he doesn't know much about his father and doesn't have any strong feelings or attachment to the man even though his mother oftens remarks he bears resemblance to him.

➤ he's been helping out with his mother's flower shop ever since he could walk and lift a flower pot. as a child, he always wore his heart on his sleeve, was easily excitable, a precocious, playful little boy.

➤ the first time his powers really came into play was when he paralysed his mother from waist down after a short tiff. the amount of electricity he released left her wheelchair bound ever since.

➤ it's made him deathly afraid of coming into contact with others. he's always preferred to stand a safe distance away. he's also learnt that the best he can hope for is to keep his emotions in check so a similar outburst doesn't happen, leading to an aloof and guarded individual who rarely opens his heart readily.

➤ since his mother's accident, he's had to juggle running the family business while in school, which hasn't worked out very well. most of his poor results and poorer attention in school is attributed to the fact that he devotes a lot of time spent studying to tending to the shop to foot his mother's medical bills.

➤ he's really hoped that the pichu thing is a phase that he'll eventually evolve out of or something, but no dice. he has a love hate relationship with it - it helps to cut back on electricity bills when you can juice your phone up with your own powers, but the absolute lack of control he has over sudden outbursts of static are setbacks he'd rather not have to deal with.
