➤ cole grew up in a poor neighborhood. he's used to the streets and scrounging for food. going to school at the university is new territory for him, even after a year there. he's still pretty rough around the edges and a little wild at times, but a good guy.
➤ cole looks a lot more wild than he actually is. on the outside he comes off as rough and angry and probably a little intimidating, but he's a big softy on the inside. he trusts people pretty quickly, too, which can be a double edged sword, but he's pretty good about his instincts.
➤ though he grew up on the streets, he can be a bit naive and oblivious to danger. mostly because danger doesn't scare him even a little bit (his parents say it's because he hit his head as a child).
