The repetitive tune came to her easily enough. The empty halls amplified Gina's aimless whistles to an almost annoying degree but that didn't matter if there was no one around to hear it, right? Almost everyone had started heading off to the dorms at this point in the day; whether to study or goof off.
The black duffel bag remained hitched over one shoulder while she sauntered toward her destination, eyes glued intently to the screen of her phone on Arceus knows what.
Afternoons of the early week seemed the best time to use the battlefields, in her opinion at least. Not many chose to stay behind after hours so soon after the weekend so the lopunny decided she would happily take advantage of that. It's not like she was in a rush to be elsewhere. All those assignments could wait a little longer.
"Psh," she huffed a little in contemplation while her eyes scanned over the shoddy outdoor arena. "Damn it, did they already lock the storage room?" What a pain. "Laps it is then..." Sighing, the brunette dropped the bag and set off in a jog around the field's outer rim. It was better than nothing but Gina was holding on to some hope that there may have been a few wayward practice targets left behind from the day's drills.
Hitting thin air just didn't cut it.
'Just a couple of rounds then I'll head back to the room to finish up those essays.' Pacing her breaths the teen set off, paying little mind to the few stragglers wandering around the campus in favour of tunnel vision. At least with running she could let her mind wander; if only she hadn't forgotten her music player back at the dorm.
