Temperamental to a fault, Gunner is a powder keg cleverly disguised as a human being. If you need someone to punch something, this is your guy; he doesn't even really need a good reason. There are, of course, myriad of reasons why he picks fights with people, though looking at his history it almost seems random. One thing is for sure, if you mess with his style or insult him, one of you will end up in the hospital.
watchdogs - He's made a few friends along the way, here and there, but most of them graduated without him and he struggles to stay relevant as he's been held back multiple times.
thunderstorms - More often he makes enemies, though he isn't especially prone to holding grudges, usually the people that don't like him continue to piss him off. He's certain capable of change, but he's not the one who will extend the peace branch first.
butterflies - As for love... Ho boy. This is, in essence, a small part of his problem. See, a long time ago, he managed to get a date. They lost two teeth and, three broken ribs later, a restraining order was filed. He never really did get the love situation figured out, but it'll take a miracle to get past this hothead's fiery exterior.

Greetings and salutations! Whether you're here for a physics lesson or some tips on flying, Professor Caito is here to help! Of course, you can just call her Oriana while class isn't in session. She's a bit tough on her students, but I promise she's friendly as can be and simply wants to push everyone to their limits both mentally, physically, and (incidentally) emotionally. If you need help with your studies, just ask!
updrafts - Orianna has many, many friends and acquaintances that she enjoys the company of. However, most of these relationships are superficial at best, and it takes someone who she can truly trust for her to consider a close companion. It's easy to pick them out: they usually call her Ori, and use they/them pronouns when referring to them.
crashlandings - Orianna knows many people that get on her nerves or that she drives up a wall, and most of it is just up to her personality. She's a know-at-all, and ignorant, stubborn types don't tend to mix well with her. Ironically, some of her best friends are also her biggest rivals-- she loves a good mental challenge and tends to aggressively engage other intellects with her wit whether they like it or not.
rainbows - Ori has never, not once, in their life felt romantic or sexual feelings for another human being. They're much more likely to end up with a queerplatonic partner, if anything, but they don't care too much either way. They'd much rather just hang out and watch gushy romantic stuff than participate in it.

GUNNERokay so, i can see minjae's relationship with gunner going along two very different paths? i guess it really depends if you want a friend or an enemy out of minjae - on one hand, if he's been working retail, minjae might've casually extended an offer for him to work in his family's flower shop. it's not much, but it pays, but given gunner's abrasiveness he'd probably be ill suited for the environment. minjae can be a real doormat about things, so he might just remind him to be nice to the customers and the flowers and stuff but they won't really hurt more than a little slap on the wrist. he's not a very confrontational person either, and he knows he can't be at the shop 24/7 so having someone to cover shifts for him is always welcome. and as long as gunner doesn't break anything, he's pretty much fine with it. he doesn't really judge or try to advise on anything, just absorbs and listens like a sponge, so he can make a good rant buddy for gunner to take out his anger and stuff on. just not on the flowers, y'know. alternatively, it might also be a case where gunner in all his angry glory, does somehow manage to piss mj off (that usually involves being an asshole to his mother and/or damaging the shop he's taken over from her) he lets loose a lot of static when he gets angry/over emotional, and while he probably can't fight for nuts his electricity is really dangerous at close proximity (case in point, mother). if some sort of fight broke out between them mj wouldn't escape with anything less than a bloody broken nose, but he'd have severed any attempt of friendship with gunner and been super wary whenever he sees him around in school. idk, gunner doesn't have to feel remorse for it but mj's also not very forgiving when it comes to personal matters that directly involve his mother. he and gunner would probably be on non-talking terms, and if he asks for a fight minjae might try and get in there even if it means getting his ass whooped but also if it means trying to paralyse gunner for life. idk to what extent you'd want to play it to, but i figured since mj is so hard to anger, a hothead like gunner might just do the trick to push him over that edge. he also kind of takes solace in the fact that if he works moderately hard enough, he can get out of here in another year or so and never have to see gunner's face again, lmao. feel free to agree/disagree or throw anything else i guess?? |

 [attr="class","melreply"]Oh man, this sounds super awesome! I love the idea of Gunner taking up the offer to work in a flower shop, even though he's horrible with customers. He'd try really hard, but probably really appreciate having someone actually just listen to him rant off (especially about how useless his therapist is) nehe!
I imagine eventually he eventually would lose his temper at a bad time and end up damaging the shop and the following drama also sounds really great! I'm 100% down for all of this, heck yes!!
I'd love to start out with a thread of either Minjae offering Gunner a job, or we could skip right to him coming to the flower shop and accepting the job and him struggling with that nehe. ok. these two are roommates. which is interesting because oliver isn't a big fan of fire-types, and also, he's... not good at peopling. so. but also interesting because gunner is pretty similar to hunter in the whole "hotheaded idiot" department, so the more he warms up to hunter, the more he'll probably warm up to gunner as well lol puns.
also gunner being trans and them living together wouldn't bother oliver at all. sure, he'd be a little curious about the whole thing, but he knows better not to ask stupid questions because that's r00d.

gunner getting annoyed with hunter and oliver always hanging out in their room and being all gay and stuff. gunner telling them to "go get a room" & oliver responding with something stupid like "but this is my room?" gunner being the unwilling third wheel to oliver and hunter's infuriatingly awkward, lame, and disgustingly hormone-fueled relationship. i have a lot of needs for him to just hate them because they clearly have boners for each other but they're both too stupid to realize it.
